2nd Annual Ride of Silence to honor injured or killed cyclists, pedestrians and runners

A year ago, Westchester Cycle Club and local residents joined up together to participate in the first Ride of Silence held in Westchester County. The Ride of Silence is part of a grass roots effort to raise awareness of cyclist and pedestrian, "share the road" rights. It's silent and somber demeanor honors and remembers cyclists’ hurt or killed on public roadways. The ride has no official sponsor, registration, brochure, fee or t-shirt, and all are welcome to participate. read more »

You probably already heard the story some time last year about the guy who bought a rare copy of the Declaration of Independence at a thrift store for $2.98. Well this guy now has an historical document on his hands that is valued at $250,000 - $350,000 which he wants to sell.
White Plains rare document dealer Seth Kaller received a call earlier this week from the new owner of the thrift shop purchase, asking Mr. Keller to handle the lucrative auction of the newly discovered rare find. read more »
