Where are good places to see punk shows in San Marcos, Texas?
Will attend Texas State in San Marcos and know where Going to see HC / anarcho punk shows, none of this emo shit. trip to Austin or San Antonio will be fine. if you know of others please not to say that. (I want to be ready for University): p
You seem like a cold person. Unfortunately, metal and indie folk seems to be the "scene" so it is very difficult to find decent punk show. Headhunters punk home shows, mostly local bands. http://www.headhuntersclub.com/ is their website. Emo, Stubb, and have all the show Red7 punk sometimes, just to keep control of their online calendars. There are many other places in Austin to see live music, and many of them must be over 18 to enter if you are a student input as I do, this sucks. Oh, and all the places I mentioned are at the heart of Austin. Good luck.
